Miami Group Trip Guide: Planning a Villa Getaway for 8–24 People

Miami Group Trip Guide: Planning a Villa Getaway for 8–24 People

Planning a trip for a big group is a logistics puzzle: eight to twenty-four people, different budgets, one shared goal — an unforgettable week in Miami. After hosting thousands of group stays, here is the playbook we give our own guests.

Crandon Park Beach, Miami

Pick the villa around the group, not the other way round

Count real sleeping spots, not just bedrooms. A villa that sleeps 14 with 6 bedrooms means shared rooms — decide who shares before you book. Look for group amenities you will actually use daily: heated pool, outdoor kitchen, game room, movie screen.

Book direct and skip platform fees

Booking the same villa directly with the owner saves up to 15% versus Airbnb or Vrbo — on a $6,000 stay that is roughly $900 back into the trip budget. Direct booking also means a real phone number and a concierge who answers.

Time it right

Miami group villas price highest December–April and around events like F1 and Art Basel. For the best value with perfect weather, target May or October–November. Book 60–90 days ahead for choice; last-minute gaps do appear in summer.

Sunny Isles Beach, Miami

Split the money without drama

One person books, everyone else pays their share on day one — not after the trip. Our checkout holds the card without charging until dates are confirmed, which makes the money conversation easier.
